What is this?
Student of the Month is an opportunity for students to be recognized, by their teachers, for their hard work and good attitudes. This will also give students awards and honors to list on their scholarship applications.
How this works:
Each month teachers will fill out a form to select a boy and girl from each grade and submit the form to the SOM committee. Students will only be allowed to be selected as SOM once every academic year.
How will they be honored?
Students will be honored by an end of the nine weeks dinner hosted by Mrs. Evan’s Hospitality Services / Intro. to lodging class. Student’s will also have their picture in the Bulldog Growl, Delaware County Journal, on the school website, bulletin board across from art board and students will be honored at the end of the nine weeks SOM/Honor Student family dinner.
